Olympia High School and Ferndale High School are now open. Is Olympia still considered a good job? (talent?) Not sure if they still do it, but a few years back the entire Olympia athletic department was on a Nike uniform rotation where each varsity team would get new uniforms every 3(?) years. As a result, each varsity HC would get an annual $500 stipend to purchase whatever they wanted for their program. (Polo's for staff, basketball camp t-shirts, equipment???) If still true, I think that is kind of cool...not having to worry about uniforms and having the option to use the annual stipend on  is kind of nice. The other thing about Olympia is they always had a heck of a home court advantage...even after a win, the bus ride from between SK & Oly sucked! |

is kind of nice. The other thing about Olympia is they always had a heck of a home court advantage...even after a win, the bus ride from between SK & Oly sucked!
